ADVIZE Privacy Policy

ADVIZE is operated by NEXT GEN Global Partners, LLC ("we", "us"). This policy covers advize.io, the ADVIZE Portfolio Manager, TradeIQ, PRISM, and the emails we send. It explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Account information. When you register we ask for your name, email address, a user name and password, and — for institutional accounts — your firm. Your password is stored only in hashed form in our directory; we never see it.
Your work on the platform. The portfolios you build, the symbols in them, your watch lists, saved reports, settings, and messages you send us through the platform. This is the substance of the service; we keep it so the platform can run your portfolios every night and show you the results.
Payment information. Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card number goes directly to Stripe and is never stored on our servers. We keep Stripe's reference for your subscription, the plan you chose, and its status, so we know what to switch on.
Brokerage account information (optional). If you choose to link a brokerage account, see Linked brokerage accounts below for exactly what we receive and keep.
Usage information. Sign-in times, the pages you use, and technical details such as your browser type and IP address, in ordinary server logs. We use these to keep the service running and secure, and to understand which parts of the platform members use.
Cookies. A session cookie keeps you signed in. Preferences such as theme and text size are stored with your account. We do not use advertising cookies or trackers.
Linked brokerage accounts
The Portfolio Manager can show your actual brokerage holdings beside the model portfolio you follow. This is optional and off until you turn it on.
- How it works. The connection is made through SnapTrade, a brokerage-connectivity service. When you link an account you sign in to your brokerage inside SnapTrade's connection portal. Your brokerage user name and password go to your brokerage through SnapTrade; they are never sent to, seen by, or stored on ADVIZE servers.
- Read-only. ADVIZE requests read-only access. We can see positions, balances, orders and account history. We cannot place, change or cancel trades, move money, or change anything in your brokerage account, and we do not ask for permission that would let us.
- What we keep. The name and masked number of each linked account, and the positions, cash and value we read from it on each nightly update, so the Model-versus-Actual view can be built. We do not keep statements, tax documents or personal details from your brokerage.
- Disconnecting. You can remove a linked account at any time from Settings → Brokerage. Removing it ends our access and deletes the connection at SnapTrade; the positions we had already read are deleted with it. You can also revoke access from your brokerage's own settings.
- SnapTrade's role. SnapTrade processes brokerage data on our behalf and under its own privacy policy, available at snaptrade.com/privacy. We share with SnapTrade only what is needed to make and maintain the connection.
How we use it
- To provide the service: run your portfolios, deliver your reports and alerts, show your linked brokerage holdings beside the model if you have linked an account, and send account emails (confirmation, receipts, trial and billing notices).
- To support you when you write to us.
- To bill you for a paid plan, through Stripe.
- To keep the platform secure and improve it.
- To send you The Kendall Report and other ADVIZE content, if you have subscribed to it. You can stop at any time using the link in any email.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers. We never use your brokerage data for any purpose other than showing it to you.
Who else sees it
Only the companies that help us run the service, and only what each needs:
- Stripe — payments and subscriptions.
- SnapTrade — brokerage account connections, if you link one.
- SendGrid — sending our emails.
- Linode / Akamai and Vercel — hosting.
- Market data providers (CSI, Financial Modeling Prep) receive symbol requests, never your identity.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our members and the service.
Your portfolio results are yours
Portfolio names, positions and results — including holdings read from a linked brokerage account — are visible only to you, to anyone you explicitly share a portfolio with inside the platform, and to our staff for support. We may publish aggregate statistics across all portfolios (for example, how many models are long this week) that identify no one.
Keeping it
We keep your account and portfolio data while your account is open, and for a reasonable period afterward in case you return; you can ask us to delete it sooner. Brokerage data is deleted when you disconnect the account or close your ADVIZE account. Billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Server logs are kept for a limited time and then discarded.
Security
Connections to the platform are encrypted. Passwords are hashed. Access to servers and data is limited to the people who run the service. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your information, we will tell you.
Your choices
- See, correct, or delete your information: write to support@advize.io from your account email.
- Cancel a paid plan any time from Settings → Manage billing; you keep access to the end of the period you paid for.
- Disconnect a linked brokerage account any time from Settings → Brokerage.
- Unsubscribe from newsletters using the link in any email. Account emails (receipts, security notices) are sent as long as you have an account.
If you are in a jurisdiction that gives you further rights over your data — including the EU, UK, or California — you may exercise them by writing to the same address.
Children
The service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for significant changes, email account holders.
